Are all of the HORSE GYM USA® products FEI and/or USEF legal?


Yes! The use of our machines are legal to use the days before, the day of, and the days after your big international or national event! You will be at ease knowing that your horse will be able to enjoy the benefits of all our products at any time of the year meaning your partner will have the opportunity to be in top, winning shape 365 days a year. Did you know? Our machines are even approved to be installed at horse shows! This means that you can have your HORSE GYM USA® machine setup or moved to full season shows like HITS Thermal, HITS Saugerties, VT Summer Festival, Princeton and several others.




My horse is recovering from an injury, is it safe to use the machines?


Absolutely! Our products are some of the most endorsed products in the sport by equine professionals including veterinarians, equine physiotherapists, acupuncture specialists and real equine patients that have overcome injuries thanks to a HORSE GYM USA® product.




My horse is not injured, will we still benefit from the machines?


Yes! Each of our machines bring several benefits to all horses from your loyal bomb-proof pony to your olympic champion. But I have a groom who hand walks my horses a lot during the day?


Thats great! The more a horse moves the better. However, both the wet and dry treadmill offer a significantly more effective workout for your horse meaning you know that your horse is walking or working in a correct, safe and beneficial way that develops and strengthens every type of horse. Plus, these machines give you the opportunity to have a smaller employee number or simple allow your grooms more time for other tasks while your horse is getting a great workout!




My horse is nuts! How am I going to get him onto the machines?


We hate to say this but trust us, you’re not the first one to say that and your horse will not be the first horse to never be able to use a machine. In our years of experience, we can confidently say there has only been a single case of a stallion who could not use our machines. Once introduced to the machines, the horses learn to relax and enjoy the benefits of the treatments and workouts.




Can the machines be used for horses and ponies of all sizes?


Yes! All our machines are adjustable so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of our products. Even the HORSE GYM USA® Spa has a detachable door so that your top, beloved ponies can benefit from all the healing effects of cold salt water hydrotherapy.




Are the HORSE GYM USA products more geared to one equestrian discipline?


Nope! Our products are geared towards helping our equine friends of all levels and disciplines! Riders and barns from western to dressage to hunter/jumpers across the US are happy owners of HORSE GYM USA® products.




Are the machines easy for everyone to operate?


Yes! All our machines have an easy to use, touch screen, user-friendly interface making operating one of our machines simple, and fool-proof!

Do you help with financing?

Can I rent a machine for a show season?


Yes! Many of our customers rent our machines for show seasons such as WEF, HITS, etc. Don’t let the fact that your team are globetrotting athletes stop you from getting your horses in their best shape, contact us about rentals.




Do you sell only brand new machines?


Though a lot of the machines we sell are brand new and last much longer than many of the other similar machines out there, we do have some pre-owned machines in our warehouse. All pre-owned machines are refurbished and tested before being offered for sale. This is a great option if you still have some reservations about buying a brand new machine or if you’re looking for a more economical option.




Will you provide assistance if I need to sell my used HORSE GYM USA® machine?


We sure can! Some of our customers want to upgrade their machines so we can help find a buyer or, depending on the machine condition, we’ll buy it back!





HORSE GYM USA® | RELAX

How often can my horse use the HORSE GYM USA® Relax?


HORSE GYM USA® Relax comes with 10 fixed programs for controlling duration and motion. We recommend letting your horse enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the Relax daily! Many barns use the relax after training to further help them recover and relax the muscles.





HORSE GYM USA® | SPA

How often should I use the HORSE GYM USA® Spa to see its effects?


The HORSE GYM USA® Spa can and should be used daily after a hard workout or training session. The cold saltwater hydrotherapy is scientifically more effective than icing, cooling or poulticing your horses legs. With most horses, you will be able to see a difference right away as their warm, puffy legs come out of the treatment cooled, tight and clean. For horses with injuries such as a suspensory, tendon or ligament injuries, soft tissue swelling, or joint infections, we also recommend using the HORSE GYM USA® Spa daily. The HORSE GYM USA® Spa is even effective and safe to use daily for horses recovering from post-operative procedures, large wounds or cuts, hoof cracks or abscesses, fungus, and infections. Always consult with your veterinarian before any new treatment however we have yet to meet a vet who hasn’t loved and recommend this product to help speed horses’ healing processes.




What is the recommended interval for changing out the water in the HORSE GYM USA® Spa and Water?


For our SPA and WATER machines, we recommend changing out the water as needed or every 4-6 months. This depends on how clean the horse is prior using the machines. Groom Tip! Give the horses a quick brush or even shower all over their legs to get rid of any dust and dirt. Pick the hooves to avoid getting shavings and debris into the machines.





HORSE GYM USA® | SUN

What’s the difference between the Sun and regular heating lamps?


The SUN is a solarium developed to help increase blood flow, circulation, and muscle elasticity. Instead of regular heating lamps just designed to warm the horse and dry the horse, our lamps come with either 15 or 25 (depending on your model) Infra-red (IR) ray lamps that penetrate deeper into the muscles for a more effective therapeutic treatment.

Are there different HORSE GYM USA® Walk programs for different horses and their abilities?


Yes! Each WALK comes with 10 set programs you can use right away boni. Plus, you can add your own customized programs for each horse! Your programs can then be named by a horse so that grooms will easily know which program is for a certain horse. Things you can customize include workout duration, speed of belt and incline!

What is the recommended interval for changing out the water in the HORSE GYM USA® Spa and Water?

Where is the best place to install my new HORSE GYM USA® machine? Inside or outside?


HORSE GYM USA® machines feature either commercial grade stainless steel to reduce the risk of rust and corrosion or hot-dipped galvanized frames for durability and weather resistance. The HORSE GYM USA® WALK has optional add-ons like a maintenance free roof to shade the horses while they’re working out. What are the surface types that the products can be set upon?


For our WATER and SPA machines, you must have a concrete or hard floor beneath. For our WALK/TROT and RELAX machines, you can have them on surfaces such as gravel, dirt, concrete, rubber as long as they are level.




Can the machines be transported?


Absolutely! In fact many of our customers are based in separate states for different seasons. What is the life expectancy of the product when properly maintained?


Many of the HORSE GYM USA® machines across the country are going strong after years of daily use, in fact some of our machines are as old as 15 years! It makes a difference depending on your machine maintenance at home. Of course things like bearings, belts, cross-ties etc can be easily and quickly replaced.





HORSE GYM USA® | Service & Warranty FAQs

How long is the warranty period for new and pre-owned products?


For all our new machines, a 2 year warranty is included against manufacture defects. For pre-owned products it varies depending on the product, age, and condition.




What items are not covered under warranty?


Items not covered under warranty are any wearable parts such as cross-ties, bulbs, ramp rubber, etc. If you come across any problems with these items or if its time they are replaced, contact us and we can help you order new and official parts.




What do I do if my HORSE GYM USA® machine has a problem or needs service?


We’re here to help! Call our office at 561-204-2199 and press extension 3 to speak with a service specialist. Usually we can fix the problem with you on the phone but if not, we’ll schedule for one of our service team members to come out to your machine. If it’s time for your machine to be serviced, call the same number and extension to schedule a time and date with our service team.




What is the availability (lead-time) of spare parts?


All spare parts are kept in our Wellington, Florida warehouse and are shipped overnight.




What are the recommended service intervals to be performed by HORSE GYM USA®?


Our recommendation for each machine varies, see below: WALK- 4-6 months WATER- 4-6 months SPA- 4-6 months RELAX- 6 months SUN- no service needed




What is the reaction time to get a technician onsite?


If we can’t help you fix your machine on the phone with you, we strive to do our very best to have a technician out to your machine within a week.




Do you provided a storage service for the machines?


Yes! We provide safe and proper storage for HORSE GYM USA® products at our very own Wellington, Florida warehouse. This is reserved by a first come first serve system so give us a call if you need your machines stored!

Help! My new machine will not start?!


Don’t worry! This is a surprisingly common question with 4 very simple answer/solutions. Top 4 reasons as to why your treadmill won’t start: 1. Treadmill is not receiving proper 230-240v 2. The lubrication fluid level is below operating point 3. Emergency stop knob has been activated / Safety Eye not seeing horse 4. Internal circuit breaker has tripped / Main power switch is in off position.
